Who I Am


Wendy Goh Founder & Management Consultant

Nearly two decades of work in international business development, product and brand strategy has equipped me with the specialist knowledge and business acumen required to succeed in the Technology and Luxury Consumer Goods industries.  My senior management positions provided a breadth of experience in both quantitative endeavours and more qualitative elements of teamwork and strategy, while also helping me realise the importance an outside perspective can bring to any business.

Professional Background

Asia and Europe...
My early years and education in Singapore, as it rapidly became an essential hub for international business, set the course for my career.  I received an MBA from the University of Edinburgh, and after several years of professional experience in Asia and Europe, completed an executive programme at the Cambridge University Judge Business School.  These ventures into the global business community sparked my ongoing commitment to international management and my avid immersion into other cultures-something I have been gratefully able to maintain throughout my profession.

My career in Strategy and Business Management began in Asia Pacific with technology multinationals IBM and Oracle. My experience in the region led to a relocation to the UK, where I oversaw the Europe, Middle East and African markets.  

An offer from Groupe LVMH in France during the later stage of my corporate life proved a significant turning point in my career, drawing me away from the technology sector and landing me in the lap of luxury brand management in Paris.  The unparalleled level of luxury expertise and exquisite craftsmanship exhibited in LVMH had me captivated with the industry, and I've remained enthralled through my work with other brands such as Estee Lauder, Alif Luxury, and Absolut Vodka amongst many others.  With an analytical, data-driven background from my years in tech complemented by the keen understanding of brand positioning and value differentiation I developed in the luxury world, I bring a comprehensive perspective to all of my current consulting clients.

I don't consider myself a traditional consultant in the mould of the Big 5; I don't claim to have expertise across all verticals, and I consider my hands-on, cross-industry experience to be more important-to me and my clients- than a myriad of consulting templates and theoretical models.  Being independent allows me to focus on specific, targeted niches, and to bring a customised approach to understanding and assisting every client.

My clients appreciate the real value an objective, experienced consultant can provide, and the importance of an outside perspective that is difficult to find in the larger consulting firms.  A global view doesn't come from having offices on every continent, but from seeing businesses as a true citizen of the world - I currently live and work in London, Geneva, and Singapore, and regularly travel throughout Europe, Asia, and the world.

Effectively bilingual in English and Mandarin, I'm also fully conversant in French.  I immerse myself in every experience I encounter.  I'm as comfortable speaking with Fortune 500 CEOs as I am talking to artistic and creative teams; I've worked with legislators to ensure compliance whilst developing effective and sustainable strategies against competing brands; I've hired talented, international managers and managed local teams; and I'm as good with numbers as I am with people.

I want to work with clients who understand the value and opportunities created by emerging markets and the shifting cultures and competition landscapes of mature markets-clients who appreciate the quantitative and qualitative elements of branding, strategy, and effective growth.
